user writes "Blue Corner opened in August(ish) 1997
and lots of people like myself thought that civilization
had at last arrived in Geordie Land. At first
it was a real treat to visit and attracted a good cross
section of guys. But the owners have let standards
fall really badly. Peeling wallpaper, shabby
soft furnishings, pathetic showers and a rancidly smelly
steam room all combine to deter all but the seediest of
customers. It's a great shame because Newcastle
really needs a good gay sauna!" |
